I have had this sweet horse shirt in my shop for a while but recently updated it into a smash cake bib with pink and gold for a Kentucky Derby 1st Birthday Party!!
The colors of the saddle can be made to match whatever color theme the party is! This is also fun on a shirt for horseback riding parties or any little girl who loves horses!
My little girl went to horse back riding camp one year! What fun!!

Sew Sampler Box February
Got this pretty little Aqua box yesterday- so much fun and surprises in one box. I started subscribing to the Sew Sampler box in August and have not been disappointed at all. Its a easy way to build my supply of sewing and quilting tools.
I have had this thread conditioner on my wish list to try for a while. It also included a few more binding clips to add to my supply. The binding clips are super handy for other things as well.
This months box also included this pretty jolly bar plus pattern, all jolly bars come with a pattern which is a bonus!! The fabric in this one is called Sweet Marion and it is gorgeous. I like that every month there is a new fabric I am building quite the stash but it will be nice to just walk in one day and already have the pattern and fabric ready to go to make something!

Princess Shirts
I had a custom order for the Frog Princess on Etsy. I found this adorable design at Linnie Pinnie.
This was my first time stitching out designs from this site, but let me tell you I loved it, It stitched very clean and easy. Linnie Pinnie has several different princess ones I am going to try and stitch them all and add to my shop. These would also make a really cute quilt blocks.
I love when customers ask for custom orders, I probably never would have stitched this one out with out them asking for it. This design can be ordered in a white shirt as well or on a ruffle style shirt that would be super cute with the princess theme. The Frog Princess Shirt is available to order in my Etsy Shop Addies Things or by emailing me at Addiesthings@gmail.com. If looking for a different princess I will gladly accept custom orders.

I'm back again..promising to get better at this blog thing..
I'm back -boy time got a way from me since last year or maybe I just have not worked on a quilt in awhile so no need to blog? I think I will start using my blog some for my Etsy shop to so I will get more regular at blogging. I had originally used it just for personal sewing maybe that would help.
So this quilt I have been working on for a year or actually over a year. I cut it out December 2015 and sewed the strips together sometime the first of last year. They are from a jelly roll and the fabric is Daysail by Bonnie and Camille which is so pretty and bright. The pattern I used was Jellybean by Thimble blossoms. This pattern was my most difficult quilt to date but it was fairly easy. I think a beginner could follow it.
When I first started quilting I would look at a pattern and think I can never even think to do that, I am horrible at math, but once I started breaking it down and figuring how it was built it got a lot easier for me.
The backing I am going to use is Handmade fabric line by Bonnie and Camille as well, I like that you can mix and match their different lines together. Hopefully by next weekend I will have the quilt basted and pinned and ready to start quilting.
I have not named this quilt yet-not sure what to name it, my husband suggested something to go along with Daysail and flags flying, it reminded him of flags flying in the wind. I figure it will come to be when I finish it up.
